Based in Jersey City, New Jersey you will support the E2E recruitment process and deliver fabulous hires with the business. You will support the overall Bombardier Transportation (BT) HR People and Organization Strategy and respective HR Operational Programs. As a member of the recruitment team, you will be responsible to carry out all the candidate pre-selection activities.

In your role you will:

Identify and coordinate innovative recruitment sourcing strategies for open positions;

Analyze all applications received and conduct telephone interviews to pre-select the best candidates using the Taleo database and other relevant channels;

Coordinate the face to face interviews and online psychometric tools, where appropriate, with the hiring managers and co-ordinate the offer management process to successfully hire great talent with the organization;

Support and coach more junior TA members to be the best they can be in conjunction with stakeholder management at Senior level within the organization;

Manage in-country escalations to Vice President and BTLT members related to recruitment;

Engage with key in-country stakeholders monthly to review recruitment management information on related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


As our ideal candidate:

You hold a University Degree in Human Resources;

You possess a minimum of five (5) years of corporate recruiting experience;

You have experience with project driven organizational environment, with an ability to adhere to and balance principles of cost, quality and time in successfully completing recruitment projects;

You demonstrate successful case studies within international recruitment delivery (Engineering, Operations and Project Management are distinct advantages);

You have ability to operate effectively within a fast paced and quickly changing environment, while demonstrating a flexible and rigorous attitude and positive approach;

You have strong direct sourcing and research experience (specifically utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Viadeo, Xing, CV databases and Boolean search strings indicators);

You demonstrate ability to work and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders (HRBPs, HMs, Business Leaders);

You hold experience in deploying sourcing strategies across both traditional and innovative channels;

You demonstrate ability to exceed customer expectations in recruitment delivery;

You own knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes (or equivalent), MS Outlook, Sharepoint (experience in CMS is considered as an asset);

Your English communication skills are excellent.
