What are your contributions to the team?
- Support customer in integrating Bombardier business aircraft into their operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining aircraft-specific maintenance schedules and detailed planning of all upcoming scheduled and line maintenance events.
- Create work packages to accomplish required work tasks.
- Requisition required parts, consumables, and tooling to accomplish work package.
- Work with Base maintenance locations for coordination of manpower, footprint and parts to accomplish upcoming maintenance events.
- Escalate issues and prepare inputs for Daily Meetings, keeping the Maintenance Planning Supervisor informed.
- Ensure the maintenance schedule complies with assigned projects, campaigns, or fleet initiatives.
- Prioritize and escalate technical or operational concerns within both the customer’s organization and Bombardier.
- Keep Bombardier management informed of key issues affecting customer aircraft.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer procedures and operations involving Bombardier aircraft.
- Deliver reports in line with established schedules and requirements.
- Navigate and utilize Bombardier’s internal customer support and in-service processes effectively.
- Participate in customer meetings, including fleet reliability and operational reviews.
- Initial responsibilities will include occasional on-call support, with the understanding that as the supported fleet grows over the next five years, hours and expectations may adjust to include potential shift work.
How to thrive in this role?
- You preferably have 3+ years of aviation maintenance management experience.
- You have 3–5 years’ experience in a planning or forecasting position, preferably in aerospace.
- A working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and a strong understanding of turbine-powered aircraft systems.
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Oracle, MS Project) and Office365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.), with advanced Excel skills being essential.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear reports and correspondence and effectively interface with cross-functional teams, individuals, and external agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven with a proactive problem-solver attitude.
- Candidate must be comfortable with a dual reporting structure.
- Comfortable working in an environment that requires 24/7 operational support and responsiveness.
- Adaptability to evolving responsibilities and new tasks as the role and business needs grow.
- Travel may be required.
