What are your contributions to the team?
- Support the Maintenance Control Center and the store in Paris in all purchasing functions (including external repairs).
- Create purchase orders according to production and Maintenance Control Center needs for planned or/and unplanned tasks.
- Responsible for placing purchase orders and approval of said purchase orders.
- Send purchase orders to Bombardier Montreal, AOG parts departments or any other supplier.
- Retrieve information from sellers and save it in databases.
- Follow up on current purchase orders until delivery.
- Follow the process of returning parts in relation to the warehouse and the Maintenance Control Center.
- Be responsible for all parts from purchase order to receipt and invoicing in coordination with the finance department.
- Ensure that all parts received are accompanied by all appropriate documentation (Forms 1 and 8130, Certificates of Conformity) and prompt return to the supplier, if required.
- Support the Nice/France station and the Paris store when needed for help or stock purchase during the holidays of the permanent staff.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have knowledge of applicable EASA and FAA regulations, requires, additional regulations such as applicable for Isle of Man/San Marino/etc. an asset.
- You have basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations.
- You have knowledge of Manuals (i.e. MPD, AMM, IPC, etc.) and thorough understanding of aircraft systems, including regulations (e.g. MEL).
- You have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
- You have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in aviation parts management.
- You must be a customer centric individual.
- You have experience with Bombardier aircrafts, if not, other Business Aircraft is an asset.
- You have good communication skills, both written and spoken, in French and English.
- You are a team player, a motivated decision maker and are able to multitask.
