What are your contributions to the team?

 

  • Maintain and harmonize the processes and tools of the methods function;
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate non-value added and optimize methods processes;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of manufacturing improvement initiatives;
  • Define the team’s requirements and involvement, as well as the structure of the Methods deliverables for all new projects;
  • Actively participate in the management of the various projects: planning, monitoring of deadlines and actions;
  • Work closely with the engineering, production, logistics, quality and other functions;
  • Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our processes and operations;
  • Transpose strategic plans and requirements into manufacturing processes that take into account operational needs;

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

 

  • You have a technical college diploma and/or equivalent experience;
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing and aeronautics field; knowledge of the structure, systems and interior finishing of an aircraft will be considered an asset;
  • You have an excellent team spirit, you are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
  • You have a developed customer-oriented spirit and have good interpersonal communication skills;
  • You have a good sense of organization, planning, decision-making and problem-solving;
  • You are skilled in project management and are comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams;
  • You have a good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Outlook), PowerBI, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the SAP environment;
  • You are functional in the French language both orally and in writing. Mastery of the English language will be considered an asset;
  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and a good analytical mind; knowledge of CATIA V5 will be considered an asset.
