What are your contributions to the team?

  • Validate and correct assembly specifications or manufacturing routines for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components;
  • Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
  • Define the tools required for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing.
  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies, working closely with the engineering, materials logistics, quality and production departments.
  • Take an active part in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments.
  • Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies, and take part in research and development projects.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or a minimum of 1-3 years in a related discipline;
  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
  • You are logical and mechanically minded;
  • You are familiar with Ms Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • You are familiar with computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc;
  • You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP...;
  • You are an excellent team player, with a reputation for perseverance and sound judgment;
  • You are fluent in both spoken and written French, and have a good knowledge of English.
