What are your contributions to the team?
• Plan the integration of change management projects, both at the product level and in the manufacturing strategy.
• Communicate regular project status updates, including any deviations to the initial plan, to stakeholders and leadership team.
• Work in close cooperation with Program Management Office, engineering, production, logistics and quality functions.
• Analyze the feasibility of new change requests, both from customers and our program office.
• Protect manufacturing operations by ensuring that all steps/activities needed for a seamless integration of change are captured in a harmonized plan (tooling, manufacturing, prototype, etc.).
• Identify opportunities to eliminate any non-value-added processes and optimize production activities.
• Ensure that all health, safety and ergonomic needs, as well as tooling and production equipment, are in line with our optimal work methodology.
• Participate in developing and updating our methods procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Take an active part in root cause analyses and investigate potential solutions by evaluating associated costs, impacts and risks to our production line.
How to thrive in this role?
• You have a technical college degree and/or equivalent experience.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace or other related manufacturing industry. Experience in cabinet making, finishing or composite will be considered an asset.
• You are well organized and have good planning and problem-solving skills.
• You have a good judgment, have a drive for innovation and possess a good decisional mindset.
• You have good interpersonal communication skills and are customer oriented.
• You have strong project management skills, and you are proficient working in a multidisciplinary team.
• You can read technical drawings and have good visualization skills in 3D.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• You are fluent and functional in the French language, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of English (spoken, written) will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems or interiors will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP and CATIA V5 will be considered an asset.
