What are your contributions to the team?
- Perform sizing and support design activities for major interfaces between Structural Suppliers.
- Monitor, support and provide guidance to the work package Structural Suppliers to ensure a quality product and supporting documentation are produced.
- Ensure the harmonization of sizing methodologies and guidelines between the Structures work packages.
- Review and approve structural substantiation reports from the Structural Suppliers.
- Support the development of in-service solutions.
- Participate and assist in the coordination of Certification related activities that directly pertains to the work package.
- Provide clear visibility to management of the status and/or emerging issues related to the supported activities.
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering and a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
- You have experience in an integration role or function.
- You have excellent experience in Aircraft Structural substantiation analysis.
- You have excellent knowledge and experience of structural Damage Tolerance Analysis, preferably on tools and methods traditionally used by Bombardier.
- You have experience with certification of composite material is an asset
- You are a confident, knowledgeable and energetic person with excellent communication and listening skills that is able to work in a team environment.
- You have experience using FEA softwares used in Bombardier.
