What are your contributions to the team?
- Act as the focal for the Technical Disciplines
- Plan all Technical activities involved in a new design or a design change, from concept definition to certification
- Coordinate preliminary mission performance capability assessment
- Lead trade studies related to low-speed and high-speed aerodynamics configuration definition
- Define Technical engineering design requirements and objectives
- Lead Outside Mold Lines (OML) optimization activities given aerodynamics and systems constraints
- Coordinate wind tunnel development and validation activities
- Lead design review activities related to Technical Disciplines
- Coordinate activities related to flight test requirements, certification, and flight manuals for Technical Disciplines
- Identify program risks related to Technical Engineering and define and execute mitigation plan
- Support customer queries related to Technical
- Ensure commonality between platforms
- Keep track of budget spend and schedule
- Provide weekly summary of all issues to Technical Management
- Attend platform specific meetings and be the eyes and ears of the team
- Document Lessons Learned
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- You possess minimum of 8 years of experience in aerospace
- You have demonstrated a good working knowledge in multiple Technical Disciplines
- You possess good leadership and interpersonal skills
- You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience
- You quickly understand complex issues and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
