What are your contributions to the team?

  • Adheres to Bombardier General Work Requirements
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to GM 
  • Recommends and advises GM on departmental matters of administration and communication as necessary in assisting to manage a complex and fast-paced office environment
  • Advises and updates GM on client, business and/or employee issues
  • Prepares, analyzes and audits expense reports for approval of GM
  • Plans and coordinates logistics for on-site/off-site special events such as business meetings, seminars, and employee training involving multiple areas within assigned department by making necessary arrangements
  • Develops and maintains follow-up systems for GM's various activities allowing scheduling and tracking of these activities
  • Participates in the development of the strategic and operating plans, initiating and performing special projects as necessary for the achievement of corporate goals
  • Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports
  • Coordinates various meetings, including location, travel, and other necessary items, prepares agendas, produces follow-up and action item lists, and prepares reports from the various meetings

  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures applicable to assigned area
  • Thorough knowledge of operational processes and workflow for assigned area
  • Thorough knowledge of point-of-contacts for support functions of assigned area, for example, HR, payroll, purchasing, facilities, and travel
  • Thorough knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software as required by assigned area
  • Thorough knowledge of auditing expense reports and related documents to verify accuracy.
  • Skills necessary to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment with all staff in Bombardier Aerospace Corporate offices, departments and applicable associated vendors
  • Ability to provide direction to other employees as applicable
  • Ability to use discretion with customers and staff
  • Ability to understand complexity of client relationships and status of accounts for upper management
