In your role, you will

  • Perform Material Review dispositions (MRB) on metal detail and assembly aircraft structure on the Bombardier G7500/8000 program.
  • Applicant would be responsible for technical compliance to all specification requirements and program guidelines.
  • They will come to understand the following: primary structure vs secondary structure load paths, the skills needed to prepare Repair criteria which must include static, and durability and / or damage tolerance analysis impacts.  
  • Position requires sound engineering judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interface constructively and effectively in a dynamic team environment. 
  • Must have the ability to work on complex technical problems in an independent manner and provide solutions which are innovative.
  • Applicant would be required to lead and/or Mentor less experienced Team members with technical oversite.

As our ideal candidate

  • You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 8 years prior aerospace structures engineering experience.  However advanced degrees or post-graduate work may be used in conjunction with work experience.
  • Proficiency with CATIA V5 modeling, ENOVIA applications recommended.
  • Proficiency with all MS Office software applications recommended. 
  • You have strong leadership, communication, and inter-personal skills
  • You can work in a cross functional team environment and interact on a daily basis with other professionals and technicians
  • Prior MRB Liaison experience preferred or basic familiarity with aerospace Material Review Board (MRB) processes and production shop floor practices desirable.
  • Candidate must be available to support Operations on 2nd shift and weekends
