Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM/APO/SPP Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Service Inventory Optimization solutions integrated with SAP landscapes (including S/4HANA). The role will be critical in enabling forecasting, strategic planning, and inventory optimization across a global distribution network. 

The candidate will play a key role in transitioning from SCM/APO/SPP capabilities toward modern centralized solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA and enterprise supply chain strategy. 

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Lead and support E-SPP initiatives aligned with SAP S4 ecosystem 
  • Analyze current inventory planning processes and design optimized forecasting and inventory models
  • Work with business stakeholders to define requirements for forecasting, planning, and supply-demand balancing
  • Support Service business Domain applications including SAP MM, SD, WM, SCM modules and Master Data: Material, Customer and Vendor Master
  • Support end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including:
    • Demand forecasting
    • Inventory stocking policies
    • Distribution network optimization
  • Collaborate with IT, business, and external vendors on solution design and deployment
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards
  • Provide functional expertise during testing (SIT/UAT) and go-live support
  • Drive continuous improvement for inventory optimization and planning processes
  • Actively contribute to Governance and Compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with Bombardier’s IT policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards

How to thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SAP certification(s) in Supply Chain Planning, APO, IBP, S/4HANA Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience (considered an asset).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management environments.
  • Extensive experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing SAP SPP, APO, and S/4HANA Supply Chain solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Demand forecasting and replenishment planning
    • Multi-echelon inventory optimization and safety stock strategies
    • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
    • Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)
    • Backorder Processing (BOP)
    • Supply-demand balancing and distribution network optimization
  • Proven experience supporting SAP MM, SD, WM, and related master data processes.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale transformation initiatives, SAP migrations, or supply chain modernization programs.
  • Experience working within complex global manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across business, IT, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex supply chain and SAP concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Bilingual (French and English) (considered an asset).
  • Proven experience in driving large-scale transformation initiatives, change adoption, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivering business value.
