Based in San José, you will be part of the Human Resources team dedicated to the Costa Rica Finance team and will report to the Director, Human Resources based in Canada. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will support all of your business segment’s employees and management by bringing an added value contribution while fostering the achievement of the strategic and operational business objectives.

In your role, you will:

- Advising and accompanying managers in the reflection, analysis and implementation of concrete and meaningful action plans with respect to main Human Resources processes, such as:
- Performance management;
- Talent and succession management;
- Compensation management;
- Annual Employee Engagement Survey.

- Establish a strong, proactive and flexible business relationship with all managers and employees to maximize their engagement, enablement and retention as well as understanding their issues and challenges, and support them in their professional development;
- Identify opportunities for improvement and/or HR risks to which managers are exposed while helping them deal with these in a responsible and strategic manner while supporting their leadership application and development;
- Ensure the continuous improvement and/or harmonization of the HR programs, policies and procedures as well as the working conditions;
- Ensure the application and development of our Bombardier Behaviours and core values to all employees;
- Monitoring HR metrics, providing reports, KPIs, etc;
- Take care of all recruitment activities and hiring processes onsite


As our ideal candidate,

- You have a bachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial relations or a related discipline.
- You have at least six (3) to eight (5) years of experience as a seasoned professional in the various fields of Human Resources, ideally in an international company and with a similar clientele;
- You have a thorough mastery of the advisor role and have demonstrated, in the past, your leadership, your capacity to navigate in grey areas and your ability to adapt to changing and unforeseen priorities;
- You demonstrate a great impact and influence and are able to position yourself, even in ambiguous situations, to support your business partners in making informed decisions;
- You have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate high professional and emotional maturity;
- You are able to question the status quo and demonstrate initiative, creativity and proactivity to ensure the evolution of the HR services;
- You demonstrate excellent teamwork, are at ease with giving coaching and share pertinent information with your colleagues;
- You have good writing skills and are at ease communicating in both English and Spanish.
