What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage our key Avionics suppliers to ensure adherence to plan of ongoing and upcoming strategic projects
- Be responsible for all Procurement-related activities for the various change management phases
- Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are maintained and provide regular updates to Senior Management
- Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team
- Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
- Work in close partnership with various stakeholders in solving and harmonizing complex business problems to program issues
- Identify and report on potential problems, risks and opportunities. Lead risk mitigation planning and execution.
- Provide coaching/mentoring to the agents of the team
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
- You have five (5) to twelve (12) years of experience in Procurement, Program Management or in the Aerospace industry
- You have strong analytical skills, personal organization, time-management, attention to detail, self-motivation & commitment to objectives.
- You are results-oriented with natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- You have a high proficiency with the MS Office suite and in generating presentations for Executive reviews
- You possess experience in contract negotiations & building relationships and partnerships with suppliers
- You have experience on development programs (an asset)
- You possess technical knowledge (an asset)
- You possess strong communication skills (French and English)
