Position Summary
Responsible for the Continuing Airworthiness Management Department (CAMO), which consists of but not limited to the aircraft maintenance management and the management supervisor functions. This role must ensure that the functions and/or personnel are performing their work in an effective and satisfactory manner to the Accountable/ General Manager and to all the relevant authorities.
In this role you will:

Oversee, develop and/or coordinate readiness plans for new customers as required

Ensuring through the workforce under his/her control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is accomplished to the highest standards of airworthiness, a standard acceptable to our client and the relevant Authorities, in managing AOG , line and scheduled maintenance event workscope

Ensuring all regulatory responsibilities are being followed as per the approved CAME/Maintenance Management Manual and be able to be accepted by the authorities under the CAMO manager post holder as required;

Ensuring that the Engineering and Quality System Procedures are complied with, to achieve good maintenance practices and compliance with NAA ;

Prepare / revise the CAME and Engineering Procedure Manual in a way acceptable to the NAA such as BCAA, CAACI, SMCAA etc as well as aircraft operated under FAA Part 91 operations and charter operations or equivalents

Conduct scheduled meetings with the CAMO team and customers to review open issues, create new targets and follow-up on those targets through the assigned staff member;

Liaise with all aviation Authorities regarding CAME requirements/revisions and phase-in/out of aircraft (C of R, C of A);

Perform supervisory responsibilities, for example/hire, disciplinary actions, PMP, and professional development

Provide guidance and monitoring of progress on major systems projects

Responsible for staff development and training

Leads and directs a group of two or more employees for given projects or tasks

Supervises efforts and provides technical guidance on complex issues
Qualification
As our ideal candidate:

You have 10 years related experience in an aircraft service facility with 5 years progressive supervisory experience working in Aviation Services Industry.

You possess Bachelors degree in Business or Aviation Management or equivalent experience.

You have working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application (e.g., Six Sigma).

You have working knowledge of airline operations and flight schedule issues.
-
You possess thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling systems.

You possess thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, Chapter 5, MPD, warranty programs by airframe, engine and avionics OEMs, CAMP.

You possess thorough knowledge of data security systems as required by assigned site.

You have solid verbal and written communication skills including business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence.

You hold computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate work processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, email, and web-based applications.

You have planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload of assigned area and employees within a multiple project setting.

You possess interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management, and contractors.

You have strong working knowledge of EASA, FAA and Federal Aviation Requirements, and other authorities such as CAACI, BCAA, SMCAA etc in Part 21, 66, 91, 135, 145, Part M and equivalent in EASA and NAAs.
