What are your contributions to the team?

  • Create work packages (Work Orders) in SAP and Oracle with reference to Maximo-based accepted Proposal Planning Document (PPD) or smaller projects not covered under (PPD) for maintenance task execution. Include generation of service order (SVO) to each task within the work order (WO) before aircraft induction.
  • If necessary, generate first Progressive Payment Invoice (PPI) upon start of each project to issue to customer for payment. To follow up on payment notices as well.
  • Forecast and create orders for rotable spares, consumables through SAP, and outsourcing vendor services, such as NDT inspection, components restoration/hydrostatic test. Indicating their respective need-by date as stipulated in the accepted PPD. Coordinating with warehouse/supply chain on the availability of required GSE/tooling as necessary and arrange with them to support incoming aircraft projects.
  • Coordinate aircraft warranty and vendor programs with respective Program Support Team, (i.e., Bombardier Smart Parts, Pratt & Whitney ESP, Honeywell MSP, Rolls Royce CorporateCare, JSSI, etc.)
  • Review customer incoming work order against customer signed proposal for any work order / tasks discrepancies.
  • Review and research aircraft documents but not limited to Aircraft/Engine Logbooks, Approved Engineering Orders, Aircraft/Engine/Component Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives pertaining to the inducted aircraft as well as incoming aircraft when make available. Make recommendation to the customers and CPMs (if any) that relates to the airworthiness requirements.
  • Update customer on the aircraft pre-induction preparation (i.e. parts status) and any arising constraints. Take prior approval from the customer for the execution of maintenance task(s) that is/are over and above the accepted PPD. Attend to customers’ needs and inquiries promptly and diligently.
  • Organize and lead internal aircraft pre-induction meeting with respective stakeholders, such as Customer Project Manager (CPM), operations lead/IC, interior and paint team. Not limited to discussing project maintenance highlights, key points, interior work scope, paint work scope parts status, etc.
  • Preparing meeting minutes to communicate and handover critical information with all key stakeholders.
  • If necessary, organize and lead pre-induction with customer and respective stakeholders. Not limited to discussing work scope as per signed proposal, any incoming defects that are reported by customer, any concerns and critical points highlighted by customer.
  • To communicate and work with Sales Support Team and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for proposal planning document review and to propose aircraft maintenance downtime for final proposal generation to customer.
  • Undertake any other important Planning tasks assign to him/her.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have 3 years related experience in an aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service facility.
  • You possess bachelor’s degree in business or aviation management or equivalent experience.
  • You possess thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling systems such as SAP, Maximo, Pivotal, CAMP, CMP, Traxxall, Ramco, Veryon, etc.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) Chapter 5, Maintenance Planning Document (MPD), Time Limits and Maintenance Checks (TLMC), warranty programs by airframe, engine and avionics OEMs.
  • You possess knowledge of warranty programs and/or service programs from various airframe, engine, avionics OEMs (such as Bombardier Smart Parts, Pratt & Whitney ESP, Honeywell MSP, Rolls Royce CorporateCare, JSSI, etc).
  • You have the people skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills including business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence.
  • You hold strong computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate work processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, email, and web-based applications.
  • You have planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload of assigned area and employees within a multiple project setting.
