In your role, you will
• Perform maintenance work on customer aircraft sheet metal components, composites and hydraulics; or
• Troubleshoot, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft including engine, avionics and aircraft components.
• Ensure that work performed is in full compliance with approved and applicable technical data (procedures) without shortcuts.
• Be attentive, ensure close coordination in between other trades (B1, B2, Sheet Metal) to ensure a continuous smooth progress and completion of the projects.
• Highlight to the Certifying Engineer any findings deriving from inspection or additional spare parts or tooling needed to achieve satisfactory completion of the work;
• Highlight to the Certifying Engineer any limitations that him/ her may face to carry out the work safe and efficiently;
• Responsible for his/ her own Time Recording and Time Keeping; &
• Ensure that work by him/ her is performed in full compliance with approved and applicable technical data (procedures) without shortcuts;
As our ideal candidate
• You hold aviation / trade specific training or equivalent qualification; aviation / trade specific training or equivalent qualification;
• You are able to read mechanical engineering drawings;
• You have minimum 5 years in aircraft experience on structural or avionics repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience;
• You possess basic knowledge of Work Health & Safety and Environmental requirements as they apply to workplace safety and environmental aspects of aircraft maintenance operations;
• You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers; &
• You have planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.
