What are your contributions to the team?
- Adheres to General Work Requirements
- Provide proactive communication to Manager of Parts Distribution as well as the other staff in the operations group.
- Act as a point of contact to coordinate outbound parts issues in an effort to achieve excellence in AOG service and enhance Customer satisfaction
- Monitor workflow and provide input with respect to customer’s overall satisfaction
- Liaise between in-house Bombardier departments, in-house logistics provider and off site internal customers to increase effective communication and resolve customer issues
- Understand the areas of responsibilities of other department and facilitate and coordinate resolution
- Provide input to coordinate and plan resource coverage with internal departments and logistics partner
- Strong ability to analyze and understand customer issues and deliver Bombardier’s response quickly, professionally & effectively to reach a mutually acceptable outcome
- Working knowledge of SAP warehouse management system
How to thrive in this role?
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2-4 years experience in a customer service, inventory management, warehouse management or logistics/transportation role
- Ability to excel and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work across a range of various levels within the company, disciplines and cultures
- Ability to plan, organize prioritize and handle multiple time sensitive tasks in a demanding global environment
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and take initiative, as well as the ability to be decisive
- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (including but not limited to, MS Office suite, Lotus notes, SAP)
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry and an understanding of commercial aircraft aftermarket preferred
- Basic knowledge of warehouse time sensitive environment preferred
