What are your contributions to the team?
In your role, you will:
- Design, modify and update tooling drawings based on method requirements.
- Participate in jig testing in collaboration with other departments.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
- Analyze and solve technical problems related to the design and manufacture of tooling.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
How to thrive in this role?
- College or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design profile, or equivalent.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in design and/or industrial manufacturing.
- Expertise in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX using a PLM system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional, quality-oriented and innovative mindset.
- Bilingual (French and English) - an asset.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations - an asset.
- Demonstrates leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing methods (e.g., aerospace assembly, composites, machining, 3D printing, aircraft detail tooling).
