What are your contributions to the team?

  • Analyze emerging environmental regulations that could impact product compliance in aerospace industry.
  • Perform impact and risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing and Production, Supply Chain, Quality) to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Engage with industry associations and authorities to address compliance challenges and influence regulatory environments.
  • Develop and optimize processes and tools for environmental compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects related to environmental regulations (REACH, ECHA, EPA, ECCC and others), ensuring adherence to the schedules and budgets.
  • Lead internal and external governance to provide visibility on project performance to stakeholders.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • You have at least five (5) years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory affairs. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • You have good sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy.
  • You have knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • You have good knowledge of manufacturing concepts and processes and the ability to relate them to financial performance.
  • You have excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite and TEAMS.
  • You have strong communication skills and you are able to work in English and French on a daily basis.
