What are your contributions to the team?
• Provide governance at the director and VP level for industrial planning, Capex, and industrial strategy initiatives. Prepare and present roadmaps, dashboards, and progress reports during governance meetings with the management committee.
• Lead internal and external governance to provide visibility on the performance of your portfolio and projects to stakeholders.
• Coordinate and ensure the quality of project financial governance, control project costs (labor, materials, and other direct costs), and ensure compliance on schedules.
• Prepare profitability analysis and present them to the management team.
• Understand and manage requirements related to complex industrial, contractual, or financial solutions.
• Develop, deploy, and improve an industrial strategy.
• Understand, analyze, and integrate the medium- and long-term capacity needs of manufacturing cells and assembly lines at aerostructure sites.
• Prepare and present roadmaps, dashboards and progress status at governance meetings with the management committee.
• As part of a new program or production repatriation, develop the sequence of production activities for assembly stations; Facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams to build, optimize, and implement the best solutions for production cells and assembly lines.
• Perform ad hoc analyses at the request of management.
• Work in a cross-functional environment where you will interact with all levels of management.
How to thrive in this role?
• You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or another scientific discipline, or other relevant experience.
• You have a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience.
• You have experience in a manufacturing environment.
• You have an interest in, skills and experience in project management, financial governance, and team leadership.
• You have knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry. (an asset)
• You are familiar with industrial engineering, operations management, and new manufacturing line implementation approaches.
• You have strong communication skills at all hierarchical levels and interpersonal skills (French and English).
• You demonstrate an ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks.
• You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You enjoy having a high level of responsibility.
• You are recognized as having a high level of initiative, autonomy, and innovation, in addition to good practical sense.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams tools, including MS Project Power BI (an asset) and Python (an asset).
