What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead and facilitate process improvement and problem-solving projects using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, and DMAIC to identify and eliminate waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Plan and structure operational excellence initiatives in collaboration with shop-floor teams.
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and a strong focus on achieving targeted results.
- Conduct process mapping and value stream analysis to identify and eliminate waste and inefficiencies.
- Develop training strategies and solutions with stakeholders to enhance team knowledge in performance management, deliver value to customers, and eliminate waste.
- Act as the subject matter expert who drives organizational adoption of change and supports organizational development to ensure that the Operational Excellence approach becomes the fundamental way of managing business performance and aligning with corporate objectives.
- Develop project and initiative timelines and ensure adherence to schedules throughout execution.
- Promote a process-driven approach that establishes a culture of standardization and execution through the effective use of processes, aligned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and appropriate infrastructure.
How to thrive in this role?
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement, and recognized expertise in Kaizen projects.
- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Recognized as a leader with strong change management experience.
- Expert facilitator with exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred; Green Belt certification required.
- Bilingual (French and English).
