During your internship, you will contribute to:

In collaboration with Senior electrical engineer, participate in the design, fabrication and commissioning phases of active projects
Perform design work as well as oversee the creation of detailed drawings from external drafting service providers
Assist in the deployment of a new software module used to organize the requirements and equipment needed to satisfy testing needs
Support the development and deployment of continuous improvement activities related to BEX masterplan

 

During your internship, you will learn:

The use and application of instrumentation and equipment used in an experimental test environment and how to compile information.
Knowledge in the selection, installation and validation of industrial controls such as PLCs, AC/Servo Drives and Automation programming.
Knowledge of design and drafting software in the field of electrical engineering.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and have completed at least 2 years
  • You have Knowledge or strong interest of design software such as AutoCad, E-Plan and knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
  • You possess functional knowledge in the use and structure of databases and common programming languages such as LabView, C++ and Visual Basic
  • You have a strong interest in aerospace industry
  • You have excellent communication skills and good judgment
  • You have a proven track record in team collaboration
  • You can work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • You are effective in both French and English (written and spoken)

  • Duration: 8 months
  • Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
