As part of your internship, you will contribute to:
  • Participate in the development of standard team methodologies;
  • Conduct floor observations;
  • Plan and conduct production time studies;
  • Compile and analyze data and write an improvement opportunity report;
  • Estimate times using an application guide.
  • Support redesign and workplace organization;
  • Participate in process improvements through Bombardier's Operational Excellence program.
  • Gather information from SAP;
  • Build and optimize assembly line balancing to support continuous improvement.
  • Create and automate documents, tools, and templates, document and improve processes.
 

What we're looking for:
  • You are an excellent communicator, both oral and written, in French and functional in English.
  • You work well in a team and interact easily with others.
  • You are proactive, dynamic, punctual, and professional.
  • You are autonomous with a customer-oriented approach.
  • You are organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • You are interested in continuous improvement/Lean Manufacturing/process improvement.
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, with a good understanding of Visual Basic.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
