What are your contributions to the team?

  • Prepare test specimens to perform tests in various disciplines (e.g., mechanical testing, physical testing, metallurgical evaluation, and chemistry) for quality control of raw materials and manufacturing processes, as well as for special engineering requests, research and development, non-conformity assessments, and investigations.
  • Evaluate and interpret test results.
  • Write technical reports.
  • Participate in various company initiatives, such as those aimed at continuous improvement.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are currently pursuing a university/college degree in Materials, Chemical, Composites, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • You have experience with Composite Materials and/or Mechanical Testing and/or Analytical Chemistry; and/or metallurgical testing.
  • You have practical experience in a laboratory environment and are hands-on.
  • You are a curious, results-oriented person, driven by the search for solutions.
  • You are capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings; 
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English; 
  • You are able to work in a team environment and interact with other professionals and technicians on a daily basis; 
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint); 
  • You are familiar with international standards such as ASTM, AMS, as well as with typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as MIL specs, and Quality systems like ISO and Nadcap (an asset);
