What are your contributions to the team?

  • You will join the Ground and Flight Test Integration team at Bombardier's Aerospace Product Development Centre.
  • Design and develop test equipment and prototypes for advanced avionics and cockpit design laboratories
  • Produce drawings and specifications for electrical harnesses, circuit boards, mechanical assemblies and modifications to aircraft components for laboratory ground testing.
  • Coordinate design and manufacturing activities within the laboratory in collaboration with test integrators and project managers
  • Plan, track and control design schedules and costs, identifying critical risks and defining mitigation strategies tailored to the projects under your responsibility.
  • Interpret technical requirements to develop robust solutions that meet design criteria, while optimizing costs and timelines.
  • Participate in the development of Bombardier's future aircraft programs by contributing to the experimental validation of innovative technologies and the improvement of the performance of test programs.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are enrolled in a university program in electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering. 
  • You have previously completed a college technical program in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or are a graduate of the École National d'Aérotechnique. 
  • You are rigorous in planning, executing and documenting tasks. 
  • You are highly motivated, curious, autonomous and versatile. 
  • You are comfortable using many hand tools to install mechanical parts, modify electrical wiring, connectors, circuit boards, etc. 
  • You are comfortable using many laboratory instruments and equipment such as sensors, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. 
  • You have a good command of French and English 
  • You are proficient in CATIA V5 and/or Autocad and have an ease learning how to use new software. 
  • You have a basic knowledge of C++, C# and Python programming.
