What are your contributions to the team?

  • Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of leading-edge technology acquisition opportunities in the areas of machining, sheet metal, composites, and assembly, helping the organization achieve manufacturing excellence.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Contribute to the definition of project execution strategies, including scope, deliverables, resources, timelines, costs, risks, quality management, communications, and training.
  • Manage activities throughout the various phases of projects, including feasibility studies, business cases, project planning, acquisition, implementation, and production deployment.Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource availability.
  • Prepare and present project status updates to various levels of management.
  • Coordinate and align the efforts of cross-functional teams while serving as a key interface between matrixed organizations.
  • Manage change requests arising throughout project execution.Develop risk management plans, including mitigation strategies to address identified risks.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automated Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with equivalent relevant experience.Interest in managing complex projects within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Passion for achieving technological excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively in both English and French, verbally and in writing.Knowledge of Microsoft Project is considered an asset.
