What are your contributions to the team?
In your role, you will:
- Lead a team of projects managers responsible to deliver on time, large complex inload/specials projects.
- Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget.
- Lead and coordinate technical change management, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders.
- Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical projects activities.
- Lead strategic inload governance’s and deliver reports for the various levels of the organization including risk management.
- Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget.
- Ensure visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation.
- Ensure the right resources are available to meet projected workload delivery on quality, cost and schedule.
- Lead, coach, develop, and assess employee.
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with minimum of one (1) years in supervisory role.
- You have advanced knowledge of Project Management processes and principles.
- You possess creative, innovative capabilities and an ability to think strategically.
- You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills.
- You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.
- You are comfortable interacting/presenting to all levels of management, including senior leadership.
- You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets.
- You have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.
