What are your contributions to the team?
- Create, validate, issue estimates and cost analyses for all types of jigs used in the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft components,
- Interpret sketches, drawings and other engineering documents used in aircraft component development and manufacturing strategies, good 3D visualization and analytical skills,
- Actively participate with other support departments on major projects (repatriation or outsourcing of manufacturing processes),
- Provide technical support (budget or actual estimates) to the various production sectors,
- Harmonization of tooling plans with the different functions, in order to properly implement them in production (action file),
- Planning tooling projects in collaboration with the different teams.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a technical college and/or equivalent experience,
- You have 5 or more years of experience in aeronautics,
- You have knowledge of all types of jigs used in the aircraft component assembly process or equivalent,
- You are familiar with all types of machining equipment required for tool manufacturing processes,
- You have excellent team spirit, good judgment, are innovative and have good decision-making skills,
- You are familiar with MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint),
- You are familiar with computer-assisted design software such as Catia, AutoCAD and Enovia,
- You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP, Mac/Pac, CAPP/D, other databases depending on the site,
- You have excellent planning, communication skills and enjoy teamwork,
- You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of English.
