About the role

The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD Solutions team leads the development, deployment and adoption of the engineering solutions required to modernize Bombardier's product development ecosystem. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for replacing legacy ENOVIA and CATIA solutions with Teamcenter, Designcenter (NX) and Multi-CAD capabilities, while enabling the processes, data migration, integrations, training and user support required for sustainable adoption.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Participate in delivery of PLM and/or CAD transformation initiative portfolio, including Teamcenter, Designcenter (NX), Capital, Multi-CAD and related engineering capabilities.
• Interact with different parts of the engineering organization to ensure delivery on plan of proposed solutions. Support improvement initiatives aligned with the product lifecycle management (PLM) strategy of the organization, in collaboration with the Business and Information Solutions team.
• Elaborate effective test plans and act as a quality assurance specialist during test procedures.
• Assist engineering users during and after the deployment of process & tools improvements.
• Provide regular visibility on the different projects you manage.
• Lead activities to identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
• Facilitate problem solving, ensure engineering stakeholder engagement and resolve issues efficiently. Evolve in a flexible and hybrid work environment.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent field with more than 5 years of experience; a graduate degree is an asset.
• You have demonstrated experience delivering large-scale engineering technology or business transformation initiatives from requirements through deployment and operational stabilization.
• You understand solution lifecycle disciplines, including architecture, requirements, configuration, integration, testing, data migration, deployment, change management, training and support.
• You have experience in CAD and PLM; knowledge in product change management principles is an asset.
• You demonstrate excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English and French, as well as the ability to train and/or mentor others.
• You are comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects). You have demonstrated leadership skills within a matrix organization.
• You possess strong analytical, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as a good business sense.
• You are organized, autonomous and manage your time effectively. You are familiar with aircraft development (an asset).
