What are your contributions to the team?
- Produce strategic plans, budgets, monthly forecasts, risks and opportunities, actuals, for a portfolio of projects, in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
- Analyze the variances between actuals and forecasts and influence the organization regarding actions to take to meet objectives;
- Lead the internal governance for monitoring project execution;
- Participate in project portfolio management: prioritize and approve projects, maintain the financial structure, analyze changes;
- Provide training and support to Program Analysts regarding the financial management of their projects;
- Prepare and facilitate executive presentations;
- Design, deploy, and maintain new financial tracking tools and indicators;
- Represent the team in managing major projects that may impact existing financial processes;
- Collaborate with other functions and sites at Bombardier and interact with all levels of management.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or a related field;
- You have at least five (5) years of direct experience in a similar role, in aerospace or a similar field;
- You have strong project management skills, with experience in program management;
- You enjoy working with numbers and have an eye for detail;
- You can prepare high-quality executive presentations and deliver a clear and concise message;
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships;
- You demonstrate ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
- You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously;
- You are organized, have a good sense of time management, and you demonstrate autonomy and flexibility;
- You have excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You have good language skills: bilingual in English and French;
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
