In your role, you will
Our team researches, develops, implements and supports innovative technologies used to improve the processes and manufacturing processes used at the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center in order to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce cycle times, eliminate non-conformities and all sources of waste.
- Evaluate and propose cutting-edge technological acquisition opportunities for the machining, sheet metal, composite, and assembly sectors, allowing the organization to achieve technological excellence;

- Evaluate, participate, and manage initiatives related to continuous improvement in the field of manufacturing processes and assembly
- Define the strategy for carrying out its projects: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communications, and training;
- Manage the activities of the development project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production start-up;
- Manage the budget, schedule, and resources in all phases. Prepare and present progress reports to different levels of management;
- Align the work of the resources involved and be the interface between the different matrix services;
- Manage client expectations and change requests within projects;
- Develop risk management and mitigation plans;
- Participate in problem solving and recovery plans when necessary to meet deadlines for key deliverables;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.
As our ideal candidate
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant experience;
- You have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in project management;
- You possess knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry (Asset);
- You possess assets in human resources management within the framework of matrix project management;
- You hold a PMI certification (asset);
- You have a good analytical mind;
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great sense of organization;
- You are fluent in English and French both written and spoken;
- You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project;
- You are passionate about achieving technological excellence.
