What are your contributions to the team?
In your role, you will:
- Perform dimensional inspections using conventional measuring instruments.
- Carry out measurements and inspections in accordance with drawings, tolerances, and customer/aeronautical requirements.
- Verify the compliance of measuring equipment, including condition and calibration status.
- Participate in the management of measuring equipment (tracking, identification, and metrological status).
- Ensure the traceability of measurement results (reports, databases).
- Apply metrology and inspection procedures and standards.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of measurement methods
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate, you have:
- Technical diploma (DEC) in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent, or relevant training in metrology.
- Relevant experience in dimensional metrology, instrumentation, and control.
- Knowledge of aeronautical standards.
- Strong inclination for fieldwork, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of metrology systems management.
- Comfortable with IT tools and metrology management systems.
- Occasional travel outside Bombardier sites may be required
