In your role, you will
• Coordinate and oversee the method planning and build sequence of the final line assembly activities of a new technology demonstrator flying prototype.
• Participate in Integrated Product Development Teams to provide requirement and guidance on manufacturability and assembly considerations for Final Line and change management updates for method.
• Establish the resource work breakdown structure for method and shop to support Final Line assembly of the prototype.
• Prepare and manage the Final Line manufacturing plan, floor layout, and condition of supply document.
• Prepare the tooling requirement document for the assembly of the flying technology demonstrator.
• Review the Bombardier Experimental method team deliverables for compliance with your manufacturing vision and requirements for Final Line assembly of the prototype flying demonstrator.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues and optimize assembly processes.
• Evaluate new business processes and tools to be deployed for experimental method and operation.
• Conduct on-site reviews and evaluations of structural suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing requirements for the final line.
• Take on the role of a senior method specialist for the assembly of structural and systems ground test rigs and full-scale test specimens for Bombardier's new aircraft development programs
As our ideal candidate
• You hold a technical degree in aerospace.
• You possess extensive Method experience (15+ years) in the aerospace industry for final line assembly of structural aircraft component and aircraft systems installation.
• You demonstrate strong knowledge of aircraft structural and systems assembly methods, processes, and best practices.
• You are proficient in interpreting technical drawings and you are knowledgeable of Bombardier standards manufacturing processes.
• You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You exhibit strong leadership and team management abilities.
• You communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• You can prepare and provide executive level presentation of your project.
• You can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• You pay meticulous attention to detail and are committed to producing high-quality work.
• You are familiar with relevant safety and quality standards in the aerospace industry.
• You have experience with one-off manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• You are proficient in using CATIA, MS Project, Excel and Powerpoint.
