What are your contributions to the team?

  • Plan, fabricate, validate and install various experimental electrical systems, harnesses, and instrumentation to support experimental ground test activities and flight test aircraft preparation;
  • Support and collaborate with multidisciplinary Experimental Engineering, methods, and logistics teams, as well as internal partners and customers to achieve common goals;
  • Coordinate manufacturing, project milestones, oversee proposals and activities under your responsibility, while respecting established budgets and schedules;
  • Perform, support and resolve various technical troubleshooting and non-conformity issues;
  • Contribute to the execution of challenging and innovative projects within the Bombardier Experimental department;
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the department through Bombardier’s Operational Excellence system.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Hold a college diploma in electronics, controls and automation, instrumentation, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, ideally within the aerospace industry;
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the assembly and installation of control panels, wire harness fabrication, PLC equipment, data acquisition systems, and related instrumentation;
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and 3D visualization. Knowledge of AutoCAD software is considered an asset;
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently;
  • Effectively manage priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables and tight deadlines;
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office tools suite, namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English;
  • Eligibility for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGD).
