Technologist Sr, Engineering

In your role, you will

• Lead projects to optimize manufacturing processes for metal parts in the fields of forming and machining;
• Create, support and synthesize the results associated with the test plans; 
• Initiate and carry out problem-solving procedures for the main problems encountered by the team; 
• Act as a technical expert during process reliability studies; 
• Research and implement new technologies to use in production; 
• Participate in research and development projects related to the field of metal forming and machining; 
• Act as a technical focal point for a multidisciplinary team in upgrading the facility’s machine park; 
• Plan, monitor and operationally control for the projects for which you will be responsible; 
• Act as an expert in the acquisition of equipment and recommend strategic decisions from a technical point of view. 
   

As our ideal candidate

• You have a D.E.C. or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant experience;
• You have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in metallic manufacturing process;
• You are a master the basic principles of the mechanics of the materials in manufacturing processes;
• You are a master of Catia V5 software;
• You can demonstrate an innovative spirit;
• You are resourceful and have a sense of initiative;
• You can demonstrate an analytical mind and have problem-solving skills ;
• You can express your written and verbal ideas clearly and concisely ;
• You will demonstrate great autonomy;
• You are fluent in French and in English.
