Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will have the mandate to deliver the Product scope within the project boundaries on quality, time, cost, cash and to manage the work packages allocations. You will lead the Product delivery and cope with the unique challenge of continually focusing on a pro-active management approach that all involved functions keep their attributed budgets, meet their schedules and deliver their obligations and commitments. You will also be responsible to apply the key Project Management Processes and the applicable tools for the implementation. You will ensure that all risks and opportunities are properly addressed and mitigated. You will have the ownership to lead the Product development until Gate 7 (start of series production).

In your role you will:

- Manage and lead all involved functions to deliver Time, Cash and NRC of Product development from Start Up Phase up to Series Production (Gate 7);
- Have the authority and the obligation to review the effort of the Project Core Team members and give directives related to the project execution;
- Lead the Project Core Team effort to meet periodic financial targets;
- Manage and lead the release and tracking of all project documents such as Change Management Plan, Detailed Project Schedule, Resources Loading Plan, Quality Management plan, Scope Management Plan, Supply Management Plan and Risk and Opportunity with the Project Director;
- Report on a regular basis and aligned with the different Project and Product Gate reviews;
- Align with the Product Family for Product development governance;
- Drive scope allocation and planning of workload into manageable work packages based on official Work and Product Breakdown Structures (WBS and PBS) and selected Building Blocks to all involved Functions including Rolling Stock Equipment (RoQ).


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (MBA or PMP would be an asset);
- You have ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience post graduate;
- You have six (6) years of experience in a leadership role;
- You own international experience interfacing or managing multi-sites (considered as an asset);
- You have excellent English and French communication skills, both written and spoken.
