We are currently looking to recruit a hardware engineer for our site in Stockholm.

YOUR ROLE

Be part of HW-development and maintenance of train onboard safety systems which include work in all BT HW sub-systems for onboard as well as for some wayside products. The product development

involves HW components and communication systems with analog and digital design and testing with highest fail-safe requirements & reliability and harsh operational environment.

It is important thtat you can facilitate and comunicate as you will have lot of interaction with different stakeholders internal and external that being:

- Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, Systems and Requirements Engineers, Test Engineers, Configuration Management engineer, Project Manager, Team Leader.

- Validators and assessors, external testers, regional sites suppliers, customers.

Your Responsibilities

- Design, Implementation and Verification of Hardware for different systems and platforms.
- Analyse faulty products or problem in production through Hardware and System verification
- Participate in process improvements and evaluation of new technologies.
- Identification of stakeholder requirements
- Documentation and Configuration Management according to BT processes and tools.

Qualifications

Qualifications

4-8 years experience working as a hardware engineer in an complex international environment

Required knowledges/Experiences:

- Design of RF amplifiers, receivers and inductive antennas.

- Electronic HW Engineer with good knowledge in analog design.

- Test strategies and understanding of test systems.

- Circuit design, including schematic capture, schematic simulation, circuit layout, electro-magnetic simulation, physical verification and device test and characterization.

- Product verification and characterization.

- Used to work in lab environment, using soldering tools, Oscilloscope instruments etc.

- Self-driving and as a team player with good communication ability.

- Used to write technical documents, like specifications and reports.

- Command of the English language and preferable Swedish.

- Use of general IT tools, like Microsoft Office.

Desirable knowledges/Experiences:

- Safety Critical Development, according to CENELEC 50126/8/9.

- Development of products in harsh environment.

- Digital design.

- Board level design.

- Handling Network and Spectrum Analyzers and similar instruments.

- Using Configuration Management tools and PDM systems.

- Use of simulation tools, like COMSOL, Pspice.

- Electro Magnetic Compliance (EMC) verification.

- Good presentation skills.
