What are your contributions to the team?
As the Supervisor for Bombardier Training Services, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategic training initiatives that support Bombardier's aircraft programs and Entry into Service (EiS) objectives.
In your role, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic Operational Evaluation (OE) plans aligned with Bombardier's mission and aircraft program objectives.
- Manage the Bombardier Authorized Training Providers (ATPs) to ensure the timely development, maintenance, and delivery of training programs supporting new aircraft variants and functionalities.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain training approvals for Bombardier aircraft.
- Oversee training program cost, schedule, quality, and overall project execution.
- Ensure aircraft configuration changes are accurately and promptly incorporated into training materials.
- Establish, monitor, and report key performance metrics that support departmental objectives.
- Manage the Bombardier intellectual property distribution associated with training development projects.
- Provide administrative and technical leadership for the team, including resource planning, operational oversight, and decision-making.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the group both administrative and technical oversight. You will be responsible for the Performance Management Process (PMP) and development of the employees in your group.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have knowledge of Pilot and Maintenance training program development and operational management.
- You have a university degree in engineering, management, or another relevant field, or you possess more than 7 years of experience and expertise in aviation training.
- You are very familiar OEM operational certification requirements and with the pilot and technical training regulatory environment.
- You possess detailed solid understanding of training techniques, instructional design, project management, and certification issues/authorities.
- You have a basic knowledge of aircraft systems, training devices, training technology and training center infrastructure
- You possess excellent written communication abilities.
- You are effective at communicating complex ideas to audiences with diverse aviation backgrounds.
