What are your contributions to the team?

Supplier Performance & Development

  • Lead supplier development initiatives focused on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance performance.
  • Assess supplier capability and maturity using audits, performance metrics, and risk assessments in the areas of:
    • Planning and logistics
    • Manufacturing
    • Supply chain management
    • Systems and processes
    • Organizational capability and people
  • Develop and execute Supplier Improvement Plans (SIPs) for underperforming or high-risk suppliers.
  • Support onboarding and qualification of new suppliers to aerospace standards and company requirements.

Quality & Compliance

  • Support and conduct supplier audits (e.g., AS9100, special processes, NADCAP readiness).
  • Drive corrective action and root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans).
  • Ensure supplier compliance with aerospace customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.

Collaboration & Technical Support

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program teams.
  • Provide technical and process improvement guidance related to manufacturing processes, materials, and controls.
  • Support suppliers during ramp-ups, transfers, and production changes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies across the supplier base.
  • Leverage SAP (planning/work packs/materials) and analytics (e.g., Power BI, Lean DNA) to monitor performance, enable transparency, and trigger early interventions
  • Track and report supplier KPIs, trends, and improvement outcomes to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead-time improvement, and risk mitigation.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and support other team members in alignment with specialist-level expertise
  • Provide constructive feedback on existing processes and tools, and actively drive improvements
  • Coordinate projects involving multiple team members to ensure effective collaboration and execution

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). PMP/MBA is an asset.
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in supplier management/supply chain within aerospace or complex industrial manufacturing, including hands‑on supplier development, assessments, and performance improvement.
  • You have a proficiency with SAP and knowledge of ERP/MRP, sales forecasting and planning tools.
  • You have solid knowledge of demand planning, S&OP governance, MPS/MRP, and inventory control; ability to coach suppliers on processes and cadence.
  • You have experience in source inspections, supplier audits, NCR/VNCR management, and corrective/preventive actions aligned with aerospace quality expectations.
  • You have proven use of structured RCA methods to eliminate recurrence and validate effectiveness.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing routings; comfortable with aerospace maintenance and engineering documentation.
  • You are skilled at building concise, executive‑level updates; adept with KPI tools (e.g., Power BI, Lean DNA) and MS Office (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
  • You have demonstrate strong relationship management, negotiation and collaboration skills; demonstrated ability to link assessment outcomes to business objectives.
  • You are bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) preferred.
  • In terms od mobility, there is up to 70% travel required for domestic/international assessments and audits.
