What are your contributions to the team?
- You will provide technical support related to asset maintenance for the manufacturing processes on the production line.
- You will rotate between the first and second shifts every two weeks.
- You will coordinate the department’s requirements that give rise to a tool order or request.
- You will execute maintenance plans; design, implement, and improve preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance in a timely manner; and participate in asset certifications according to the established schedule.
- You will participate in resolving nonconformities and optimizing operations.
- You will propose and implement process improvements related to the department.
- You will participate in project planning and report in a timely manner on the progress of activities assigned to your role.
- You will coordinate work with service providers and manage the inventory of parts and supplies to ensure maintenance.
- You will develop standards and procedures for asset verification and control, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- You will implement continuous improvement system tools.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with bending machines or CNC machines.
- You have experience using CMMs for maintenance management; please highlight if you have used MP or Svision.
- You have knowledge of resource planning and budgeting, including the creation of metrics and reports to evaluate project costs within the team and ensure compliance with planned budgets.
- You have an intermediate level of English to communicate with international suppliers.
- You have knowledge of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
- You are familiar with maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs), such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and equipment availability.
- You have knowledge of the Quality Management System as it applies to maintenance processes.
- You have knowledge of project management for initiatives proposed by the Tooling team.
- You have the ability to effectively identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- You have the ability to collaborate and work effectively with others to achieve common goals.
- You have the ability to make proactive decisions and take results-oriented action without the need for constant supervision.
