What are your contributions to the team?

The Analyst, Technical Products is responsible supporting the global Business Aircraft Services Sales team by providing expert technical guidance and developing compelling value propositions for customer engagements, campaigns and strategic discussions. They act as a subject matter expert across the Customer Services portfolio, translating complex concepts into clear and persuasive sales messaging, create impactful presentations and sales tools, while training the sales force on products and go-to-market strategies. They conduct technical and competitive analyses to highlight the value of service offerings, including their impact on operating costs, performance and asset value. They monitor market trends, represent the organization at customer and industry events, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales engineering tools and practices. They may support the development and management of channel partner relationships to expand product offerings and customer base.

 

  • Coordinate with service centers to help develop capabilities, capacity, and business opportunities across assigned product lines
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support the development and positioning of product offerings across assigned domains
  • Coordinate and implement partnership agreements, including licensing or pricing aspects
  • Contribute to managing lead referrals and tracking indirect sales activities
  • Work with the Engineering department to support marketing requirements related to new models, special purpose aircraft, and development programs
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors to support implementation of solutions
  • Develop operational plans aligned with business models and sales targets
  • Monitor product development plans to help ensure alignment with business needs
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to support market insights and planning activities
  • Maintain and update detailed information on aircraft equipment, acquisition, and operations
  • Update and distribute standardized product comparisons and analyses to the sales team
  • Review technical data intended for external communications (e.g., marketing materials, publications)
  • Ensure sales representatives have access to accurate and up-to-date technical information
  • Track and update standard aircraft model definitions
  • Conduct technical presentations to prospects and customers, as required
  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales team regarding products, programs, and competitive data
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date product, program, and competitor information files (e.g., technical documents, pricing, equipment lists)
  • Develop and maintain tools, including basic systems or programs, to support team objectives

How to thrive in this role?

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Engineering or another technical related field
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in business/new market development, business aircraft maintenance or sales and marketing
  • Working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Significant Aircraft knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: aircraft performance, operations, interiors, cabin management systems, communication systems, avionics, maintenance, preferably Bombardier Business Aircraft
  • Good verbal, communication and presentation skills
  • Computer skills necessary to learn and create various reports and correspondence (i.e., Lotus Notes Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint], Org Chart Pivotal, internet, etc)
  • Business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, suppliers and customers

 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate rigor and attention to detail
  • Experience in a marketing or sales environment
  • A pilot license is an asset (not required)
