What are your contributions to the team?
- Prepare necessary documents to support the modification of in-service Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis and design compliance reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments, outside suppliers and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
- Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
- Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving build/modification and test issues
- Work in a team environment
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering with two (2) to five (5) years aviation experience or have a minimum of ten (10) years of practical avionics/electrical system installations, functional testing and integration experience in aviation.
- You are proficient creating electrical drawings using AutoCad.
- You have a working knowledge of Cabin Management/Entertainment Systems (Preferred).
- You have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
- You are proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook).
- You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft.
- You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
- You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- You are an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
