In your role, you will:

• Act as point of contact for major floor plan modifications and projects for all product lines; including but not limited to.

- Validate build sequence, hours and overall product structure

- Review and approve 2D drawings from Engineering.

- Review for Manufacturability and drawing errors

- Provide Engineering with viable solutions to issues with Engineering.

- Act as Liaison between Interiors, Fabrication shops and Engineering

- Create clear work instruction to be used in conjunction with Engineering and applicable specs and processes

- Work directly with the Operations Supervisor/Manager through all phases of Projects and Major Modifications

- Responsible for investigating and correcting manufacturing problems resulting from Engineering, Planning and other

- Development and maintenance of project sheets and implementation of changes

- Use SAP to check status of parts, print simulations, and plan as required

- Liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality and Procurement departments.

- Support Procurement group, provide Manufacturing Bill of Materials and determination of Make/Buy

- Impact analysis of long lead items

- Report Impact and potential work arounds

- Ensure that Project milestones are met

- Specification compliance relevant to certification of AC

- Work as part of multifunction team with Procurement, Engineering, Quality and other organizations to develop best practices and processes for Interior Back shops

- Support Project meetings and reviews as required

- Time study analysis

- Assisting management in development of aircraft schedules and maintenance

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Industry

• You have a Bachelors / 4-year Engineering degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Aerospace engineering, but not required.

• You can demonstrate knowledge and implementation of Aircraft Engineering procedures and processes.

• You have strong internal and external problem-solving skills and team facilitation skills

• You can demonstrate sound judgment, integrity and cooperative attitude towards facility optimization.

• You have created, mapped and maintained Aircraft engineering / methods schedule aligning with A/C RTS schedules.

• You have previous experience in Product life cycle management applications in Aerospace Industry – SAP, CATIA/ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Maximo and other relevant Product Data Management applications.
