Purpose of the Role:

CBI (Computer Based Interlocking) & OBC (Object Controller) ITC Engineer to support the delivery of the CBI and Object Controller system for RSA project. Work includes assembly, testing, FAT and onsite testing & commissioning. Should have good installation background in signalling.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Plan the weekly installation & test of the warehouse assembly of REBs base on the global planning and provide progress update site ITC activities in accordance to the rolling program and actual site progress.
- Liaise with stake holders’ day to day installation & test activities.
- Willing to work 24/7 based on the site requirement.
- Update installation procedures, method statements and complete the records on time.
- Report to team leader to coordinate with other interface partners to short out site issue.
- Advance material planning as per the site requirement.
- Assure sites are properly stocked with installation and test tools while test tools are periodically calibrated per BT standards.
- Raise NCR for any Engineering related issues at the site and follow up with the stake holders for the closure
- Raise MNCR for any material conformity at site and follow up for the closure.
- Implement the Field change order (FCO) at site.
- Execute warehouse FAT of REBs/OBCs, support site installation activities and supervision of sub-contractors /partner undertaking installation of signaling equipment.
- Support and during Commissioning and Maintenance period
- Assure quality inspections are performed on material and assemblies.
- Assure equipment is properly stored prior installation.
- Ensure sub-contractor’s quality of work achieves the desirable quality and workmanship level, with proper inspections and audits regularly.
- Provide NCR and action plan to rectify any anomalies found at site.
- Record and register installation test records.
- Work with design team for the evolution of drawings (i.e. mark-up, modification sheets, transmittals, as-build drawings) until the completion of installation stage.
- Work with punch point related thing during project execution.

Safety and Environment Responsibilities:

- Strictly follow the safety rules, regulations and procedures as stated in the safety plan for internal staff and subcontractor(s) working at site.
- Ensure all activities comply with Company OH&S policies and procedures.
- Working in a safe manner and notifying management of any areas which safety can be improved.
- Promote and enforce safety awareness to the team and sub-contractors, by regular safety briefing sessions.
- Periodic site HSE audits.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to the SHE Cultural Framework, policies, Safety Essentials and Management System requirements and expectations;
- Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimize those risks;
- Understand and effectively undertake SHE accountabilities.


Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Mechanical or related fields or equivalent.
- 3 years of work experience
