In your role, you will

•    Manage and administer the activities of all employees in a Materials Procurement and Supply Chain Management environment.
•    Define, implement and monitor all Material Logistics / Procurement and Supplier Management activities
•    Set KPIs and establish governance, ensure proper training and development of team members
•    Oversee the schedule of all material support 
•    Support & lead placement of Purchase Orders and administration of related activities.
•    Manage and support employees in their execution of responsibilities as defined by Bombardier to ensure flawless execution from a production parts availability perspective
•    Utilize lean tools involving the shop floor and office teams to ensure best practices within their respective area.
•    Liaise with the on-site supplier intervention activities as needed in order to ensure component delivery on time
•    Liaise with other teams to ensure smooth operations from a planning and MRB perspective including change management.
•    Build strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance using BSC / supplier scorecard metrics.
•    Assist in the development of departmental budgets. Ensure measuring and report on financial performance.
•    Strong management experience to Coach, mentor and develop employees in the group.
•    Ensure timely and effective communications regarding operational issues, schedules and compliance with internal customers.
•    Maintain a strong cross-functional focus, ensuring the team members work collaboratively to meet program objectives.
•    Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
•    Host HRMC audit, UK Import/export and customs experience
 

As our ideal candidate,

  • You have a Diploma or University degree in business or related field;
  • You have a demonstrable track record managing supply chain/Inventory within a medium to large organisation
  • Aviation experience is ideal
  • You have experience in import/export and customs
  • You are able to foster a sense of teamwork and excellence in the workplace;
  • You have demonstrated leadership skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • You possess strong organizational skills and have a good understanding of customer / supplier relations;
  • You are pro-active, results-oriented and strive for continued improvement.
