What are your contributions to the team?
• Adhere to General Work and Safety Requirements
• Willing participant to both class room and On the Job training. (Aircraft Systems and Structure)
• Assist with pre/post experimental test inspections as trained
• Assist with maintenance on experimental aircraft.
• Assist with aircraft ballast changes
• Assist with installation of instrumentation, strain gauges, and accelerometers
• Assist with aircraft towing, weighing, and related activities (Observer only)
• Assist Mentor with release and recovery aircraft on taxi ramp
• Assist with removal and re-installation of aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of assigned tasks
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas to department and company standards
How to thrive in this role?
• You will be entering your Junior or Senior year of high school, at least 16 years of age. Must have passing grades from the previous year of schooling (2.5 GPA or above).
• You maintain regular attendance and are punctual.
• You are able to work between 20 and 32 hours per week
• You are available for minimum of 6 weeks, possibility to extend, based on performance and initiative.
• You complete on-the-job-training and any required reading in a timely manner.
• You possess basic computer skills necessary to perform job function. (Microsoft Office)
