What are your contributions to the team?

Collaborate with leadership in creating and communicating a long-term vision, balance short- and long-term goals, and connect strategies to technologies for experimental engineering for aircraft & ground Rigs for new programs and strategic technologies activities.
For new aircraft programs, support the definition of flight test instrumentation and airborne data acquisition systems.
For new aircraft programs, represent experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs at the aircraft level in multidisciplinary teams and work groups.
Lead experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs risk evaluation associated with complex projects, considering technical, financial, and operational factors.
Collect lessons learned, ensure use of common approach across programs and identify areas of improvement and evolutions.
Plan, update and expand the Bombardier Engineering System for experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs .
Define experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs Knowledge Domain vision and development plan. 
Lead Strategic Technology initiatives related to experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs .
Champion initiatives to build trust and knowledge sharing across experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs including connected disciplines and knowledge domains.
Cultivate an academic and industry network and influence the development of emergent technologies and standards for experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs .
Maintain a positive outlook and constructive attitude during difficult and complex situations. 
Guide team members in showing accountability on their activities by taking ownership and following through on commitments.
Manage experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs existing relationships and develop network within leadership and fellows/experts of all connected disciplines.
Champion ethical practices and policies, drive positive change and promote a culture of integrity, respect and inclusivity.
Share deep technical knowledge and guidance within the team, provide mentorship to professional and technical expert engineers and recommend development action of technical experts as part of PDP.

How to thrive in this role?

You possess a deep understanding of Bombardier experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs, Bombardier’s key suppliers impacting experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs as well as legacy and emerging technologies in the instrumentation and airborne data acquisition systems field. 
You possess a deep understanding of experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs processes, methods and tools to address all design phase activities.
You produce high added value analysis related to experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs in support to complex or high visibility activities across all platforms.
You support complex or high visibility operational requests (e.g. aircraft deliveries, in-service activities, production, etc.) related to any Bombardier’s aircraft platform.
In collaboration with leadership, you participate in budgeting, cost estimations, and resource allocation of experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs team.
You have more than 20 years of relevant experience in the field of experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs, focused on ground and flight test experience.
You have a strong background in experimental engineering for aircraft and ground rigs for derivative and new aircraft programs.
You possess strong communication skills, verbal and written.
You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering.
