What are your contributions to the team?
As a supporting member of the Defense Procurement team, you will be tasked with ensuring operational information is collected and prepared for presentation at leadership meetings. You will be at the heart of procurement activities acting as a primary interface with team members in collecting and compiling data and operational status information.
During your internship, you will contribute to:
- Aid the Defense Procurement team in compiling and presentation of operational data information.
- Participate in operations by assisting in projects that may include the preparation of business case
- Participate in identifying, analyzing cost reduction opportunities
- Participate in developing business strategies
- Aid the commodity team in contract reviews.
How to thrive in this role?
- You are currently studying business administration, or equivalent
- Good judgement and ability to learn quickly
- Good analytical skills and fine attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and have good organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- You are fully proficient in English language (spoken and written )
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)
