What are your contributions to the team?
- Participate in the Learjet reporting process for Actuals/Forecast and Budget.
- Prepare all reporting related to the fringe benefits process.
- Contribute to key financial deliverables (account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries).
- Partner with the shared services team to manage and oversee capitalizable projects / cash monitoring / tax reporting / etc.
- Perform basic to moderate account analysis, for example, sales tax, fixed assets, and lease related accounts.
- Support governance activities to ensure accuracy and quality of financial reporting.
- Support quarterly financial reporting and collaborate with Finance teams and external auditors.
- Participate in project initiatives and provide support on ad hoc requests.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and are a CPA designation holder.
- You have a minimum of 4 years Accounting or Financial Analyst experience (taxes, fixed assets etc.).
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) would be an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is considered an asset.
- You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- You possess strong analytical skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and demonstrate initiative, commitment and perseverance.
- You can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You have good oral and written communication skills.
- You have basic knowledge of U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
