What are your contributions to the team?
• Facilitate on the job training
• Assist in establishing a culture of learning within the network training facilities
• Lead storyboarding and instructional design processes
• Provide technical guidance and expertise in troubleshooting training issues and problems for assigned site(s)
• Perform formal evaluation of training courses and programs, for example, knowledge retention, on-the-job transfer, and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate with management team to address and resolve training-related issues for assigned site(s)
• Coordinate with vendors and schools to select training courses and seminars for the development of specialized skills and qualifications
• Assist in developing and administering training budget for assigned area(s) and site(s)
• May provide mentoring for employees in assigned area to promote acquisition of job proficiency
• May provide input for PMP/PDP evaluations of employees in assigned area and apprise employees of performance levels for day-to-day assignments
How to thrive in this role?
• Typically a minimum of 7 years aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
• Typically a minimum of 5 year corporate / commercial jet experience (preferred)
• Experience within Part 147 regulatory training environment
• Experience in analyzing, developing and administering technical training programs
• Experience researching human performance (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of training techniques and multi-media training devices
• Thorough knowledge of instructional techniques and design
• Thorough knowledge of training system development and administration principles
• Thorough knowledge of FAR training regulations part 145 and 163
• Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload of assigned area and employees within a multiple project setting as required
